You've discussed this before regarding soft drinks that just don't "hit" right from the bottle, but the Baja Blast in particular loses something. Even pouring it into a different glass to avoid the plastic taste that comes from drinking straight from the bottle doesn't help.
Seeing the phrase "home soda" had my eyes welling on the verge of tears. Some are, others aren't. It's an unfortunate truth I never took the time to sit with, but if I brought a 12 pack of Baja Blast to my mother's house I wouldn't be invited back.

yes! I really think the fact that we're all used to Baja Blast as a fountain-only drink plays a role here
